How to check a forgotten Redmine login

If you forgot your Redmine login, you can check it with the "Lost password" feature on the login page.

Conditions

The method in this article requires the following conditions.

  • You know the email address registered in Redmine.
  • "Allow password reset via email" in "Administration" → "Settings" → "Authentication" is turned on.

Steps

  1. Click the "Lost password" link on the Redmine login page.
  2. On the "Lost password" page, enter your email address registered in Redmine and click the "Submit" button.
    An email for resetting the password is sent to the registered email address.
  3. Your login is written in the body of the email.
    If you also do not know your password, click the link (URL) in the body of the email. You can then set a new password.

If you do not know the registered email address, ask the administrator of your Redmine to check your login.
