Selecting and deleting multiple attachments of an issue or a wiki page in Redmine

When you want to delete files attached to an issue or a wiki page, you need to repeat the same operation for each attached file. This is a little troublesome when you want to delete many files.

In Redmine, you can select only the files that you do not need and delete them together from the edit page of an issue or a wiki page.

Steps to delete attachments together

Click "Edit" on the issue (or the wiki page).

Click "Edit attached files" on the right side of the Files section.

Select the files that you want to delete, and click the "Submit" button.

The steps are the same for a wiki page. Click "Edit", click "Edit attached files", select the files that you want to delete, and click "Save" to delete them.

Permission settings

The "Delete attachments" permission must be given in "Roles and permissions" for the project.
