Redmine does not start and shows a message such as "A secret is required to ..."

During installation, you run bundle exec rake generate_secret_token to generate the key that prevents cookie tampering. If this key has not been generated, an error like the following is recorded in the WEBrick output or the web server log when you access Redmine from a web browser, and you cannot use Redmine.

Run the following command in the Redmine installation directory to generate the file that contains the key and other data (config/initializers/session_store.rb).
