The family name and the given name are displayed in reverse order in Redmine

By default, Redmine displays the name of a user in the order "given name, family name" (for example, John Smith).
To display names in the order "family name, given name", open the "Display" tab of the "Administration" → "Settings" page. In "Users display format", select the option that is shown in the order "family name, given name", and save the setting.
