News
The News feature allows you to publish announcements and information for project members.

Published news items are displayed on several screens, including the Home page, My page, the project Overview page, and the News page.
You can also notify project members by email when news is added.
To do this, go to Administration → Settings → Email notifications and turn on News added in the list of notification events.
Adding News
Click News in the project menu to open the list of news items for the current project.
From that screen, click Add news in the context links at the upper right to open the news creation screen.
After entering the required information, click Create.
By default, this permission is assigned to the Manager role.

Administration → Roles and permissions → Permissions report
Fields
Title
The title displayed in the news list and other views.
Summary
A short summary of the news content.
The Summary is displayed on the Home page, My page (Latest news block), and the project Overview page instead of the full description.
Description
The main content of the news item.
Files
Files related to the news item can be attached.
