Enumerations

The Enumerations screen(Administration → Enumerations) allows you to define, add, modify, delete, and reorder the values displayed in several dropdown lists across Redmine.

These include:

  • Document categories
  • Issue priorities
  • Activities (time tracking)

Editing Enumeration Values

Clicking an existing value allows you to edit the following:

  • Name:
    The label displayed in the dropdown list.

  • Active:
    If turned OFF, the value will no longer appear as a selectable option.
    This makes it possible to temporarily hide a value without deleting it.

  • Default value:
    When enabled, this value becomes the default selection when the dropdown list is displayed.
