Documents
The Documents feature allows you to publish and share files that should be shared within a project, such as meeting minutes, specifications, and other reference materials.

When files are distributed one by one via email, it can be difficult to locate the correct version later unless each recipient organizes them carefully.
With Documents, files can be published in an organized way by assigning them to document categories.
Documents can be searched by their title and description, making it easier to find the files you need.
To update the contents of a published file, you must download it, edit it locally on your computer, and then upload it again.
Unlike Wiki pages, documents cannot be updated directly in Redmine, which makes this feature well suited for files that are not frequently revised after publication, such as meeting minutes.
Adding Documents
Click Documents in the project menu to open the document list for the current project.
From that screen, click New document in the context links at the upper right to open the document creation screen.
